Credential Pick-Up and Journalist Access Guidelines for the International Media Center at the BRICS Brasil Leaders' Summit
Brasil will host the BRICS Leaders' Summit on July 6 and 7, 2025, at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Rio de Janeiro.
Accredited press professionals should pay close attention to the guidelines for picking up their credentials, which are indispensable for accessing authorized areas during event coverage.
Presenting identification is mandatory for credential pickup. Credentials are personal, non-transferable, and mandatory for use throughout the event.
Companies wishing to designate a courier for pickup must send an official document listing the names, Brazilian CPF numbers (or passport numbers for foreigners), and roles of the professionals, along with authorization for the courier to pick up the credentials.
Credential pick-up location:
Biblioteca da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Praia de Botafogo, 190, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro. Pickup will be available from July 4 to 7, 2025, during the following hours:
July 4: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
July 5: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
July 6: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
July 7: 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The International Media Center will operate at Vivo Rio on the following dates and times:
July 5: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
July 6: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
July 7: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: Credential pick-up is not available at the event venue. Access to the press center, located at Vivo Rio — Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, 85, Parque do Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro — can be made via Passarela Paulo Bittencourt.
The credential provides exclusive access to the International Media Center during the BRICS Brasil Leaders' Summit. Press professionals will only be allowed entry to the Summit venue if determined by the organization.
New credentials will not be printed unless the current one presents a technical issue. Do not lose or forget your credential; it is your sole identification for accessing the International Media Center.
